Our Functional Medicine Clinic in Highland Park, Dallas, is looking for an experienced and Certified Medical Assistant to join their team. A background in OBGYN is preferred. Our Medical Assistant will work alongside our functional health care practitioners to support a variety of responsibilities.

NOTE: 50-60%% of this role involves patient interactions and procedures, while the rest is administrative.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

• Support clinical practitioners
• Facilitate lab tests
• Assist with annual women's physicals and PAPs.
• Assist with vaginal ozone, and other gyn procedures
• Develop thorough knowledge of EMR - take the lead on software changes and updates
• Support practitioners with fulfilling prescriptions of supplements and medication for patients
• Admin Tasks include - Portal Messages, Prescription refills, Chart rep, uploading lab results.
• Attend lunch and learns, participate in continuing education.
• Front desk support as needed

Qualifications:

• Must be a Certified Medical Assistant
