Position Summary:
Alive + Well is a 7000 sq foot Integrative Health and Wellness center that is growing and evolving. We are looking for an authentic, kind, friendly holistic therapies specialist that can easily multi-task while staying calm under pressure - plus, provide an exceptional guest experience. This is an important role in the functionality of our day-to-day operations so we are looking for someone who is professional, timely and reliable. A preferred qualification is someone who has prior knowledge and experience in health and wellness and client and member service management. This person will work very closely with our hospitality team, our nurses, and our guests. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment, enjoys being part of a collaborative team, and embodies Alive and Well’s mission and values in every interaction.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Friendly, warm, and hospitable with our guests as you receive them and guide them to their respective rooms
  • Facilitate different therapies such as Ozone Sauna Therapy, Ozone Nasal and Ear Insufflation, LED Red Light Therapy, Infrared Sauna Therapy, and Sauna and Cold Plunge
  • Each therapy requires setting up, facilitating, and educating the guest about the therapy, dispensing and cleaning the equipment and resetting
  • Sharing what Alive + Well offers with our curious guests
  • Assist with laundry services, if needed
  • Maintain cleanliness facility alongside housekeeper and hospitality coordinators
  • Checking supplies on hand for each holistic therapy and requesting with assistant Manager, Kat Ross when needing to order more
  • Using the opening/closing checklists to ensure holistic therapy rooms are stocked, cleaned and reset
  • Assisting the nurses with IV guests by walking them back to the room and taking vitals
  • Directing spa days to be sure that guests are on time for their services and in a smooth flow
  • Must be able to lift 30-40 pounds.
  • Someone who is a great team player and very easy to work with.
  • Ability to be flexible and go with the flow
  • Thursday deep cleaning day alongside Shelby Guthrie (ex, Cold Plunge)

Holistic Therapies Coordinator KPI’s

  • Punctual
  • Maintains a professional demeanor
  • Discuss other services and/or supplements that may benefit a guest 10x a day
  • Walk through holistic therapies 1x a day to be sure we are fully stocked in supplies
  • Walk through 1x a day to be sure all therapies are functional and cleaned thoroughly
  • Connecting with the nurses 3x a day to see where support is needed
  • A weekly meeting with the hospitality manager to discuss any upcoming sales, holistic therapy needs, changes in the center, etc.
  • Restocking robes, towels and spa slippers 3x a day in men’s, women’s, common areas and ozone sauna room
  • Wiping down walls and glass throughout the center during downtime
  • Changing out water in flowers 2x a week
  • Maintain water level of water in the water dispensers – daily
  • No more than 2 towels missing from restrooms at one time

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hospitality or customer service experience (wellness or spa setting preferred).
  • Naturally warm, friendly, and service-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, reliability, and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Comfortable learning and using software (MindBody experience a plus).
  • Strong communication skills - in-person, written, and over the phone.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive, can-do attitude.

Schedule

  • Friday 8:30 – 5:00 pm
  • Saturday 8:30 – 5:00 pm

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay: $18.00–$20.00/hour (commensurate with experience and performance)
  • $18 an hour for the first 90 days.
